    sleep quality is one of the most important things in life. if sleeping in separate beds leads to a happier life, while sleeping in the same bed brings problems, it's an easy choice.

    I don't think I could ever be in a long term relationship if I had to sleep in a completely different bed. The only exception would be if they're somehow so sick that you can't be near them for their health. It's not even about sex. It's the fact that they're your life partner. I'd want to spend as much time with them as possible.

    My dad and step mom have always had their own rooms. I think it’s because my dad snores so loud. I’m happy to sleep with my husband every night. It makes me feel safe and I love the random cuddles. We’ve got a big kind size sleep number bed that helps us sleep comfortably even if one of us is moving around a lot.

      Snoring usually has causes and if one partner refuses to put effort to try solviny them, sleeping apart probably means more.

    compare this with Serta IComfort CF4000 plush Mattress, in cooling, what difference does 3 vs 4 stars really mean?

    • @ASLReviews
      @ASLReviews Місяць тому

      For an all-foam mattress both models perform pretty well. But the arctic does offer better cooling giving it the advantage for hot sleepers. 3 vs 4 stars represents average vs good.

      @@ASLReviews is this on a 5 scale or 10? how much of an advantage is this? is there anything cheap i can buy on top of cheaper option? there is a 2k difference in price due to close out i found on cf-4000.

      can you compare cf-4000 plush vs extra plush? I told mattress company that I have a bad back and wondered if you can go too soft? plush is 70 and extra 85 out of 100. what do you think?

  • @MusikLover8
    @MusikLover8 Місяць тому

    I'm a bit concerned, you said 5.5? is that the side of comfort or firmness? whats 1- and what's 10? I read both online and youtube saying that its rated 3. with 10 being firm, 1 soft. what am I missing? how long does it take to break in? also very concerning I bought a $5k Tempur pedic nightmare, that even with a $500 cover to mimic, the top of line $7k breeze line, failed me, and I never really broke in 3 months. Had to fight with them to return broke out my skin turned all red.

  • @MusikLover8

    what's difference betw plush and ultra plush? and do you have model # for both? Having trouble sleeping. Considering cf 4000 not sure if its ultra, or plush? It's being discontinued. I could save $900-1200 now. So seriously considering it as I over heat easily.

    • @ASLReviews
      @ASLReviews Місяць тому

      We haven’t had the chance to review the plush, only the ultra plush. It’s definitely a soft mattress, one of the softer we’ve reviewed. We rated it a 5.5 on an older firmness model but we have since made revisions to our ratings. With that it kind is out it more around a 4. Hope that helps!

      @@ASLReviews thx, I had 2 memory foam mattresses I loved sinking in. But neither is made anymore. Since I've had 3 nightmare beds in 1.5 yrs. One bed in box screwed up cuz it didnt rise evenly, and company told me to screw myself. Tempu never molded to me. It was not at all cool. I overheated like crazy enough with AC at 67. That was my only complaint with both memory foam beds. My hybrid memory foam has sinking issues. So I'm hoping that icomfort cf 4000 soft. will be my savior. I haven't slept well in over a yr. Also is there a certain soft comfortable side sleeper pillow you suggest I think with 4 or 5 ins of loft?

    • @MusikLover8
      @MusikLover8 Місяць тому

    In comparison to sleep number and ReST reviews you have done. Which, in your opinion is better?

    • @ASLReviews
      @ASLReviews 2 місяці тому

      Hi! So unfortunately, ReST is no longer filling orders. It is unclear as to whether that will change in the future but they had lots of problems fulfilling orders last year. As for a choice between Air-Pedic and Sleep Number, while both a great brands, we do favor Air-Pedic. The quality of the foams are exceptional, they use a reinforced I-beam for support down the center which prevents sleepers from rolling into the center of the mattress and Air-Pedic comes with a 6-chamber air system which allows for customizable comfort in the shoulder and legs, and the lumbar. This is in contrast to Sleep Number’s 2-chamber air system which, at lower number settings can cause a bit of a hammock effect.

    I just bought a sleep number I10 pre-owned on Facebook. The guy had it for less than 1year he spent nearly 8k on it and I bought it for 2k. I slept on it once night so far and it feels like my body is totally relaxed and for the first time in 8 years I'm not in pain vs my $6,400 temperpedic which has given me pain and collapsed in the center. I feel like I got it for a steal of a deal. Yes the guys home was clean and him and his fiance are moving into the same home so he would have any place to put it. Which is why he is selling it. The next bed I buy will be Rest bed

    What would you say is a better mattress this or the nectar premier hybrid, I just got the nectar and find it so hard. Came from a silent night med-firm orthopaedic mattress and it was 10 years old so soft. Not sure this nectar will often up enough

    • @ASLReviews
      @ASLReviews 2 місяці тому

      Of the two, Simba is definitely firmer than the nectar hybrid premier so if you think Nectar is too firm I’m not sure the Simba hybrid pro would suit you. How long have you had Nectar? Adjusting to a new mattress can take a little time but Nectar did certainly soften up for us!

    In 2001, during our first year of marriage, my wife and I bought 2 twin beds from Select Comfort. They were on sale for $200 each. We used one for over 20 years, and the other is still going strong. Never had a more comfortable bed. No crappy foam on top to make me hot or reduce the firmness I desired. No stupid bells and whistles associated with "smart" technology. Heck. Our controls didn't even display a number! But it didn't matter. We set the firmness once, and they never lost air, even during rough sex. Plus, we never felt movement when the other one moved around because they were two separate beds rather than a single bed. Yet both beds still fit onto a single king-size frame. Speaking of which, we bought a solid birch sleigh bed frame that is 350 pounds over 20 years ago, and it has never made a creak; I doubt it will ever creak! Best quality bed and mattresses anyone ever had. Just wish Select Comfort (now Sleep Number) still offered the basic no frills mattress we got from them back in 2001.

      Hi! We haven’t had the opportunity to review their upholstery bed frame so I can’t compare it to that. That said, the adjustable base is very sturdy and we have had no issues with the frame moving when someone else wakes up. Your mattress may still demonstrate motion transfer though depending on which mattress you’re using with it and how well it isolates motion. Hope this helps! 😊

    Hello ASL Reviews, Does Air-Pedic require the purchase of their foundation or base along with their air adjustable mattress? Thank you.

    • @ASLReviews
      @ASLReviews 4 місяці тому

      Hi! They do not require you purchase their foundation or base though many mattress companies of course recommend it. When you go to purchase I would just confirm what sort of base is required as I have seen some companies that will deny warranty coverage if you aren’t using a base with proper support. This is most often seen with slatted metal frames that have the slats too far apart.

  • @ScottLive1

    Please be aware many of these ASL Review videos are outdated and inaccurate because the mattresses companies have modified their products. The Alexander Signature Hybrid in this video has been replaced by the Nest Sparrow (plush) which is a softer mattress. Nest no longer uses TitanFlex foam in the current Nest Sparrow, they use a softer Energex foam now. She would likely rate the Nest Sparrow plush at 4/10 in firmness which would be the softest rating on this channel. The Nest Sparrow Plush has been rated by some as low as 2.5/10 so if you are looking for a soft mattress check it out.

    I just got my dream cloud hybred mattress today, February 3rd says to wait 24 hours upon opening it. Possibly even up to 72 hours for max wait. Upon opening and it's been so far 8 hours and crossings fingers for the 24 hour wait time as I'm seeing the corners on all 4 sides weak to not full expansion and slight pressing on the corners coils just sinks. Will see after the 24 hours wait, if it be still same then I guess too much hype adds on lousy roll up mattress. As m already wondering how long not just this mattress but any rolled up mattress is kept rolled up in a box thus dies it not loose its strength if it sits rolled up for 6 months before its sold??

    This is the sad truth about Cozy Earth: I am a cozy earth support working offshore (Philippines), and this is what I will reveal. First, you guys (customers) are being scammed by this company because the products that they are selling for a very high price is actually made very cheap and outsourced in China. Imagine they will sell a product for 200 to 300 USD and they will give you a discount of up to 45%, do you honestly think you are getting the items as a good deal for that high of a discount? That's a marketing trick..Why? do you know the actual price of that product? The actual price of that product that is made from China is only a fraction of its original price (not even 1/4) so think again people. Don't be stupified by this company. They are advocating cheap labor, abusing poor laborers in china, paying them breadcrumbs. The working conditions are horrible. For what? for your own comfort? It is worth it? Here in the Philippines, they have the same treatment for us. They do not allow us to have a Christmas leave, they force us to work even on holidays with no holiday pay. They are tied up with this stupid outsourced company called TalentPop and they are only paying us $3 for a full 8 hour shift. Sad reality. Please stop buying Cozy Earth products. I must comment on this - I stayed overnight at a Hilton Garden Inn - woke up the next morning feeling like I had the best sleep ever and left me feeling like I have never felt before - curious I had to find out about the mattress I had just slept on - It was the Natural Form Mattress - This mattress is absolutely THE best mattress you will ever encounter - Yes it's expensive - My answer is "What is a truly good night sleep worth?" - Priceless! - Twelve years later I'm on my second purchase of the Natural Form Mattress - Check into the mattress - Do your research - Compare - IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

    Trying to find a great mattress for combo sleeper with great pressure relief. I’m female 5’7’ 140lbs. I have arthritis in my hips. Was looking at diamond transformation, puffy royal and winked soft. What matters of the 3 would you recommend? Im currently sleeping on Helix midnight lux. I find the top layers soft but sink right through them feeling to much pressure on my hips. I’m open to other suggestions as well. Thx! 😊

      Hi! The Puffy Royal and the softer WinkBed are both fantastic options for pressure relief, however, the Puffy Royal may feel a bit sluggish for combination sleepers. The Diamond Transformation offers nice pressure relief as well but I prefer the Puffy Royal or WinkBeds for hip pain. Another great option to consider would be the Nolah Evolution 15" Hybrid (plush version). You can check out the review here: ua-cam.com/video/NqTjMVfLCJk/v-deo.html Nolah mattresses are consistently some of my favorite beds for hip pain! Hope this helps :)

    Ok so you have reviewed both the 800 and 1000. Which one did you like the best?

      Both are great beds but I do prefer the 1000, it’s thicker comfort layers offer a slightly plusher feel than the 800.

    Thank you for the detailed review, im leaning towards the linen ones as i think they will last longer and i like the relaxed look

      You can’t go wrong with either! I have a slight preference for the 100% bamboo but my husband has a preference for the linen so we alternate. The bamboo linen has a more relaxed look for sure. Hope you enjoy!

    I have a similar pillow from BETU, and I like it as it's adjustable. but I did purchase a Snuggle-Pedic body pillow. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can try it out as I have to relieve pressure in my hip area due to me being a side sleeper.

    Since you said you tried the 800, curious of the difference in "feel" between it and the 1000? Both my wife and I canNOT stand the "memory foam" type beds that we sink into! Plus, we get VERY HOT in them -- would NEVER have one; NOR do we want the heavy "pillow-top" feel! Consequently our concern when you mention "memory feel" (02:12) that it may be too much like the memory foam beds. We're in conversation with a long time Air-Pedic rep... but trying to find some folks who have actually been using them to hear their feedback -- recommendations / suggestions about the various models. I'm totally sold on their engineering -- just concerned now about deciding on the "best" mattress configuration for our preferences. When I mentioned SO MANY "models" AND concern to NOT have the "memory foam" sinking-in feeling, the Air-Pedic person discussed the 650 and 850 (currently "on sale") and suggested that we check out both a Sleep Number "iLE" (for the 850) and the "PSE" (for the 650) to give us some idea of the feel of the Air-Pedics. We were only on the Sleep Number "i8" in the store -- obviously in part b/c it was on sale... the salesman admitted the most popular... and he's seen more dissatisfied with the "iLE" than the "i8" I was appalled at their price -- good grief $10K for a bed?!!! I shouldn't say this, but reminded me of being in car dealership. LOL We walked out... ;-) We've been VERY comfortable with our Somma California King (tubular) waterbed for 35+ years! (I'm from the farm, taught shop, an aviator and yes, I'm a techy -- I understand how things work AND modify and "repair" almost anything.) I repaired a couple of tiny leaks about 10 years ago and just had to repair another this past month; but otherwise this waterbed has been fantastic! (The key to its longevity is fully dusting the tubes with baby powder/corn starch so the tubes don't stick.) I've adjust the amount water in various tubes over the years to suit our comfort -- most of the time the tubes are very full for FIRM support. However, we're realizing the foam top has seen its better days, and we're noticing more shoulder / hip discomfort when side sleeping..... Soooo, also knowing that a traditional mattress could NEVER compete with the comfort of our waterbed -- we've even tried a few -- an "air-type" bed seems the best option. (At 68, I don't want to have to keep wrestling / repairing / filling tubes anymore! LOL) Therefore, Air Pedic's 3-zone sides makes so much more sense than Sleep Numbers single zone! And in fact, WE found that to be true when we visited a Sleep Number store this past week. Ironically, the salesman "claimed" I was the FIRST person to be more comfortable when he reinflated my side of the bed back up to 90-100! My back got very sore when he reduced the pressure!!! I had lower back surgery many years ago AND the waterbed has been my friend! ;-) Then he raised the foot some, which helped my wife, BUT not me! In fact I got off the bed BEFORE he came back -- said I just couldn't stand it any more! After that experience we decided we probably need to get a full split California King, since I can't stand having my feet raised up. nor my head much for that matter... ;-) Bottom line now... HOW do we determine the proper Air Pedic model??? We need some of the "cushion" for side sleeping, BUT do NOT want that sinking-in so far that we're uncomfortable and roasting! Consequently, since you've tried both the 800 series and the 1000.... your thoughts, suggestions on them? Is the 1000 really worth the price and / or will it be too much like a "memory foam" feel -- sinking in? Again, appreciate your thoughts between models. Plus, have you tried their adjustable base -- The Flex-USA™ Elite adjustable base that comes with massage motors? If so, does the massage really "work"? Much appreciate your review in this video and look forward to your feedback. Blessings - Thanks much!

      Hi! So the Air-Pedic 1000 is a great mattress but it is plusher than the 800. Thicker comfort layers which provide wonderful pressure relief but it sounds like may not be the best match for what you’re looking for. I’d recommend the 850 over the 800 based on your preferences. I have not tried the the 650 so I can’t speak on that one. Of the 3, the 850 is the most buoyant which prevents the deep sinkage typically associated with memory foam. Additionally, Air-Pedic does offer an optional airflow transfer system which helps improve breathability for a cooler sleeping experience. Hope this helps!

      @@ASLReviews Thanks for your very FAST Reply - Very Much Appreciated! Their current special pricing -- 50% OFF -- for the 850 (nearly $1,000 less than the 800!) really sweetens the pot! AND having just checked out the equivalent Sleep Number, Air-Pedic wins hands-down from our viewpoint -- no real comparison! Again, thanks much! Just ordered the 850 while it was still discounted; and was blessed to receive a military discount!
